Northwick Park Hospital
Fire door survey and remedial works across NHS accommodation in North West London.
Fire Door Remedial Works
On behalf of Network Homes, Pro-Passive Fire Safety completed a Fire Door Survey at Northwick Park Hospital. The survey identified numerous doors requiring remedial attention.

Rather than replacing every doorset, the project team worked through the defects and agreed a cost-effective programme of remedial works. Works included replacement of damaged hinges, installation of drop-down seals, fire stopping behind architraves, fire door signage, repair of damaged frame lipping, replacement of smoke seals and replacement of glazing.

The programme allowed the client to retain suitable existing fire door sets while addressing the defects that affected their performance.
Northwick Park Hospital is a major NHS hospital in Harrow, managed by London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The accommodation works formed part of a wider programme to maintain safe, functional buildings.
The completed remedials included practical details such as hinge replacement, seals, fire stopping, signage, lipping and glazing, showing how a structured fire door survey can turn individual defects into a clear remedial programme.
